Julien Bou Sejean is an Analyst at Echo Partners, where he builds robust financial models, coordinates due diligence, and crafts investor-ready materials for healthcare and life sciences transactions. He partners closely with deal teams to analyze market dynamics, evaluate commercial and clinical drivers, and ensure rigorous valuation frameworks—enabling clients to navigate complex cross-border M&A and capital-raise processes with confidence.

With over two years of experience across M&A, venture capital, and joint ventures in Europe, Julien has supported Pan-European transactions ranging from €300 million to €1.2 billion. He has advised on sell-side mandates, led financial analysis for fundraising rounds, and sourced early-stage health care startups in a VC capacity. Julien’s analytical precision and sector insights strengthen Echo Partners’ commitment to delivering tailored, data-driven solutions for emerging healthcare innovators.

Omar Sher

Vice President

Omar brings nearly a decade of hands-on operational experience working with founders and leadership teams to scale startups across B2B SaaS, deep-tech, IoT, and dual-use industries etc globally, including most recent achievements in Singapore before transitioning to VC.

He has successfully driven results for ventures with $2M–$8M+ ARR and enabled $50M+ in fundraising in sectors like AI, IoT, and energy technologies. With expertise in market expansion, GTM strategies, and business development.

He holds a Master’s in International Business from Monash University and has experience living in 10 countries, offering a global perspective and network. Now based in Los Angeles, he helps founders and investors access transformative opportunities within the venture ecosystem.

Miles Lin oversees Echo Partners’ operational backbone and deal-sourcing platform, blending deep technical expertise with strategic outreach. With 8+ years building and managing corporate IT infrastructures for startups, investment banks, and hedge funds in New York City, he ensures our teams operate on a secure ,scalable foundation. Complementing this, Miles has 3+ years developing AI-driven, multi-channel outreach systems that connect emerging healthcare innovators with the right investors and acquirers.

At Echo Partners, Miles drives capital-raise and M&A workflows, automating investor targeting and engagement to accelerate deal momentum. His dual mastery of technology and process empowers our young, ambitious culture to execute complex healthcare transactions with speed, precision and disciplined rigor.

Craig Primo

Strategic Advisor

Craig Primo brings over two decades of M&A and capital-markets expertise to Echo Partners. He began his career at Citigroup Investment Bank and has since completed 50+ transactions—ranging from sell-side mandates and buy-side engagements to growth-capital raises for founder-led and family-owned businesses. As a seasoned entrepreneur and operator, he co-owns an aviation services firm managing wildfire-suppression contracts for U.S. Forest Service and government agencies across the Americas. Craig leverages this blend of transactional acumen and real-world leadership to guide emerging health care innovators on optimal exit strategies and financing paths.

Daniel Finkelstein

Strategic Advisor

Daniel Finelstein combines decades of C-suite leadership with private equity and transaction advisory expertise to support Echo Partners’ healthcare mandate. As Strategic Advisor, he refines deal strategy, leveraging insights from his tenure as CEO of Macy’s California and Macy’s West—and as a former investment banking partner on buy- and sell-side mandates across consumer and industrial sectors.

In his role at Trivest Partners—the Southeast’s oldest private equity firm—Daniel focuses on sourcing and structuring investments in founder- and family-owned businesses, including healthcare organizations, equipment manufacturers and technology providers. Trivest’s healthcare practice equips him to guide life sciences and med-tech clients through disciplined, culture-preserving growth financings and strategic exits. His blend of operational depth and PE acumen ensures Echo Partners’ clients receive pragmatic, growth-oriented counsel.

Helmut Brunar, PhD

Scientific Advisor

Helmut Brunar provides Echo Partners’ with scientific and operational insight—structuring complex licensing deals, CDMO partnerships and technology acquisitions to advance novel therapeutics. He is a seasoned life-sciences executive and licensed business advisor specializing in pharmaceuticals, biotech and medtech, with deep R&D and operations expertise in biosimilars, vaccines, gene and cell therapies, and orphan-drug platforms.

Helmut has led large capital investment programs from process qualification through new-site commissioning, managed quality systems and supply chains at scale, and executed in- and out-licensing transactions. With a PhD in Chemical Sciences from the Technical University of Vienna, he combines technical mastery with market insight to drive actionable growth strategies for emerging healthcare innovators.
